Ever set up a lemonade stand when you were a kid? Where did that money you earned go? In Graton, MA, a young boy set up a lemonade stand to help a police officer (and father) after he had heard the officer had been diagnosed with cancer. Tyler Hardiman, 6, wanted to do something to help this man – who was a stranger.
Tyler’s mom was very proud that her son would want to do something to help another person. Tyler’s friend Jacob heard about the lemonade stand and joined him in the effort! Tyler said he wanted to help the officer because he has kids. Jacob said that it was a nice thing to do. News of the lemonade stand spread and hundreds of people came and so did some police officers!
