Cleaning surfaces that have grease build up and gunk can be a taunting task. Whether you’re frying up a pan of bacon or sautéing veggies in olive oil, grease splatter abounds. It multiplies in tiny little droplets and clings to your stove top, cabinets, back splash and any other areas close by.
It’s often difficult to remove, especially if you aren’t able to clean it right away, so here we share with you a simple how-to for cleaning up the mess with basic items you already have in your kitchen.
You will need:
-A few drops of alcohol (best to use Ouzo)
– Cotton (or a cotton swabs)
-An old toothbrush
Soak the cotton swab in alcohol and wipe the greased parts of the stove. Wait a few minutes and see the grease disappearing right in front of your eyes. Scratch the stubborn grease areas with a toothbrush, previously soaked in alcohol.
Follow with a clean, damp cloth to remove any powder residue. The result is amazing!
