In the United States and other Western countries long ago there was a trend for tattoos, and recently this fashion spread throughout the world, especially among young people.
However, several studies suggest harmful effects of tattooing in human health which usually arise from inappropriate use of certain colors.
Some tattoo colors contain dangerous toxic substances that cause cancer. By this shocking discovery came a group of experts from England from the Agency Of Public Health.
They, in their latest research reveals that dangerous toxic of nano particles from tattoo color are deposited in the spleen through the blood and kidneys.
This reduces the body’s ability to filter toxins.
The danger of red and blue colors
This new research coincides with previous studies of scientists from the US and Denmark, who have found carcinogenic chemicals in tattoo colors, including cobalt and mercury.
The report showed that red hues contain mercury and the green and blue hues contain cobalt.
Due to the danger to health, the researchers asked the competent institutions in England to deal with this problem and to regulate the use of using these colors.
The danger of black color
The study by Dr. Georgina Serupa from Copenhagen showed that there are carcinogens materials in 13 of the 21 colors that are usually used for tattooing in Europe.
According to US research, black tattoo color is produced using benzopyrene, which in experiments made on animals has been shown to cause skin cancer.
