It is a fact that many people have their wisdom teeth removed, not knowing that this is one of the biggest mistakes they have ever done.  Most of them choose to do so as they simply trust their dentists who often fail to question their methods.

This article reveals few facts on this topic, which will certainly make you better equipped and able to decide on your own, instead of sticking with what your dentist says.  The truth is that many people have been told that they need to have their wisdom teeth removed, despite the fact that they didn’t really need to do so.

What are wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth, also known as the Third Molars, are back teeth that typically come in early twenties.  As reported by the American Journal of Public Health, over 6\ percent of preventative wisdom teeth removals are not necessary.  Out of the 10 million wisdom extractions annually, as little as 20 have been proven to be needed.  People are often told that wisdom teeth are associated with a wide range of illnesses, but the truth is that this is a big scam coming from the dental industry.

Back in the 1900s, Dr. Weston A. Price conducted a massive research on the link between oral health and diseases. He found that native tribes were almost 100% free of tooth decay, concluding that the link between dental and overall health lies in nutrition.  The good news is that this finding is today practiced by holistic dentists who understand that supplying the jaw bone with nutrients during its development, the crowding of the teeth will be avoided and all 32 teeth will have enough place.

He also found that once these native tribes started adding white flour and sugar into their daily diet, their healthy teeth started deteriorating.

Why You Need Your Wisdom Teeth

The teeth are connected to the all organs in the body, functioning in synergy. According to acupuncture meridians, wisdom teeth are connected to the front of the pituitary gland and the small intestine. As a matter of fact, up to 46% of the sensory and motor nerves in the brain`s cerebral cortex are connected to the mouth and face.  Each time a tooth is extracted, it disturbs this balance and the acupuncture meridian flowing throughout the area.  The meridian acupuncture system shows the relationship between the teeth and the joints, vertebrae, organs, endocrine glands, and spinal glands.

Wisdom teeth extractions can be dangerous.

Between 57,000 and 175,000 people after wisdom extractions, have experienced permanent prickling, numbness, and tingling caused by nerve damage.  This confirms that all of our teeth are connected through the nervous system pathways.  While wisdom teeth extraction is common surgery for many Americans, this procedure comes with some serious risks which may even lead to death.

According to Jay Friedman, a California-based dental consultant, more than two-thirds of all wisdom tooth extractions are medically not needed, meaning that most patients would be perfectly fine if they just left their wisdom teeth intact!
